It's hard not to be proud of AGR's own BoogieMan's debut on NYC's famed WBAI this past Saturday night/Sunday morning, December 27/28th. Not only did BoogieMan (head seen 3rd from right) throw down a sure shot choice selection of funky disco delights on Rare Radio's marathon DJ session but he did so among greats such as legendary Paradise Garage member DJ Tomcat (pictured above second from right) also alongside Randy the Musicologist (right), DJ Monk One (not in photo), DJ 3D (not in photo), and the surgeon himself DJ Emskee (not in photo) . So much so listen to Emskee host and give dap on the outro about the BoogieMan even at the end of almost 10 hours of music.

This rare radio was by far one of the dopest i have attended. The energy in the room was electrifying, i haven't seen that many people dancing in that small studio space in, well i have not seen it like that ever. The rare radio crew killed it...I am glad the boogie man got his time to shine, it was an experience.
It was so fresh. Had me awake, disco zombie style, bugging on the music and drawing -Nice work Boogie Man, and kudos all around!!
I am becoming a strong advocate for a Reggae Rare Radio. Maybe someday but if somebody sees this and has the clout let's make it happen!!
Thanks to all for the love & good vibes
