Baby, What Has Happened To Our Love - The Ringleaders - 1966 - M-Pac!
Ringleaders (Vandy Lane, Willie Hawkins, Bret Anderson, Eddie Donahue) are a sweet soul group that got together in 1964 in Saginaw, Michigan. They recorded this beautiful record ca. 1966 on M-Pac records, a subsidiary of One-Der-Ful, after having left their hometown shopping for deals unsuccessfully in Detroit and successfully in Chicago.
They sound so tight - especially the background vocals!! and apparrently a lot of soul collecting record hoards believe so as well being that it goes for mad money.

how do you transcribe dope background vocals? do do do do do dooooo doooooo? this song is what happened. sometimes some northern soul favorites sound like what a strange fish dish tastes like but this is tight, concise and just right.
it's crazy to think that these guys were just around for a few years and managed to make this track that to this day is played in bars and clubs, primarily in the UK, by DJs who pay mad money for their records.
